Annual Report on PCA Use Shows only 45% of Physicians Receiving Physicians Comparability Allowance

The Office of Personnel Management has released its annual report on agency use of the PCA.  The report states that 4188 physicians out of a total of 15,520 civil service physicians were eligible for the PCA.  The full report is in the library section of the website.

FPA  Submits Recommendations for Changes to NSPS

Based on survey responses and input from FPA members, FPA has recommended three changes to the new National Security Personnel System (NSPS) for physicians.

Survey Highlights Physician Pay Inequities

Based on 850 surveys, there appears to be major differences in the special pay of physicians.
